Gather - Equip - Go
To see lives Renewed by Hope, Growing through Faith, and Walking in Love.
Every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and to know that they are seen, known and loved. For those who are aging, sick, and nearing the end of life, this truth brings comfort, hope and reaffirms purpose.
Psalm 71:9 states, "And now, in my old age, don't set me aside. Don't abandon me when my strength is failing." Many people in their final stages of life are lonely and feel forgotten. We want seniors and the sick to know that their life matters, that God has not forgotten them and neither have we.
This is accomplished through visiting senior homes, assisted living homes, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, group homes, and other places to offer spiritual support and compassionate care.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” - 1 Corinthians 16:14
ABOUT ME
Christine Carson
Ahava Pathways Director & Pastor
I am California native, mother of 4, married to my high school sweetheart since 2004, an ambassador of God and an agent of hope. I love music, outdoors, hiking, travel, coffee, and new adventures. I see hearts in the most unsuspecting of places, and encourage others to seek them out, too!
I went to college to study Spanish, graduated with a BA in Spanish in 2004 with the desire to be a missionary! The Lord led me down a different pathway, and I ended up teaching middle school for 11 years. I have spent many years involved in ministry both with my local church and with other non-profit organizations, as well as engaging in many short-term mission outreaches. Ministry experiences led me to pursue a calling in pastoral care and to seek God's wisdom for all that the Bible teaches when it comes to the call of shepherding others well. I completed my MA in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis in community chaplaincy through Liberty University. The Lord has called me to walk many pathways, and always with truth and love. I currently serve at a local hospital as a chaplain and as a pastor at local senior homes within the community and as Director of Ahava Pathways. Forever a disciple of Jesus and a missionary sent out to bring the love of God to others, I am passionate about equipping others to walk pathways of love and purpose to bring hope to a world so desperately in need of it.
I welcome opportunities to teach and share God's Word in a variety of settings (bible studies, small groups, church gatherings, etc.), to provide pastoral care and counsel, officiate funeral services, offer grief support, and develop discipleship and evangelism training for the body of Christ!
